Nambé Pueblo Development Corporation is developing a retail gas station on pueblo land that is adjacent to the Buffalo Thunder resort (north of Santa Fe). The station will feature, aside from regular gasoline, biofuels in the form of ethanol (10% blend, "E10"), and biodiesel (20% blend, "B20"). Nambé Pueblo Development Corporation is also developing a regional distribution center for biofuels using its existing aboveground tank storage facility. Regional Development Corporation is playing the role of project facilitator/consultant.
Goal: retail gas station operational, regional distribution center providing biofuels to Los Alamos National Labs and to the New Mexico Department of Transportation fleet. Expected completion: July 2006.
