$16,000 has been granted to Taos Municipal Schools from the State of New Mexico's Clean Energy Grants Program for energy monitoring equipment to promote energy efficiency in the school. In addition, a grant of $31,964 was granted to the Taos Schools for an efficient heating/cooling system (passive solar, natural ventilation) for the Taos Living Lab that will be used as an educational demonstration.
